Aerial Installers are the companies responsible for installing TV aerials and satellites dishes in your local area. The majority of aerial installers provide a range of freeview aerial and Free-stat installations. Just as Internet Service Providers offer internet services, aerial installers provide TV aerials which provide clear signal and access to hundreds of TV stations. Aerial Installers provide domestic and commercial installations, including flat installations.
Most Aerial Installers use Antenna or Satellite dishes to set up a local system. An antenna (or aerial) is an electrical device which couples radio waves in free space to an electrical current used by a radio receiver or transmitter. In reception, the antenna intercepts some of the power of an electromagnetic wave in order to produce a tiny voltage that the radio receiver can amplify. Typically an antenna consists of an arrangement of metallic conductors (or "elements") with an electrical connection (often through a transmission line) to the receiver or transmitter.
Likewise, a satellite dish is a dish-shaped parabolic antenna designed to receive microwaves from communications satellites, which transmit data transmissions or broadcasts, such as satellite television. Sattelite dishes are far more efficient and cover a larger area than antenna giving better signal reception and therefore clarity. Aerial Installers charge more for installing a satellite dish than installing an antenna.
Indoor installation of TV aerials can be carried out by an individual. However, it requires expertise to set up antenna and satellite dishes. Each installation is carried out with care by trained and insured engineers.
